Park & Ride
A Park & Ride bus service operates from the Elstow Park & Ride Site, with a direct service to and from the hospital between 7.00am to 7.00pm, running every 15 minutes, or every 10 minutes at peak times. Bus or Coach Services
There are numerous other bus services around Bedfordshire that stop at Bedford Hospital. Buses and coaches also stop in Bedford town centre and Bedford Bus Station, which is about a twenty minute walk or short taxi ride to the hospital. Train Services
Bedford Midland mainline station is situated about half mile from the hospital and is only a 10-15 minute walk away or short taxi ride.
Bedford St. John's Station is about a quarter of a mile from the hospital (about 5 minutes walk). Please note that this station may not be suitable for some people as it is unmanned, involves climbing steps to the main road and there is no taxi service from the station.

Taxi Services
There are drop off points at the Kempston Road, Britannia Road and the Accident & Emergency/Outpatients entrances.
Travelling by Bicycle
There is a covered and well lit cycle store at the Kempston Road entrance and numerous cycle locking points at various locations around the hospital site.
