Meadowbank ward is Bedford Hospital's neonatal unit and situated in the Trust's dedicated women's and children's wing, Cygnet Wing.

The unit employs specialist neonatal nurses and family care assistants to care for premature and unwell newborn babies and their families.

Visiting the Unit

Parents and grandparents are allowed to visit the unit at any time, other family members and visitors may visit at anytime between 2.30pm and 4.30pm and 6.30pm-8.30pm.
