Employment services provides recruitment and retention for all staff (clinical and non-clinical); working closely with the three hospital divisions (medicine and diagnostics, surgery and anaesthetics and women and children), the medical director and the human resources department.

For those seeking a medical position, there is range of entry routes into the Trust, including direct recruitment, as well as via the Eastern Deanery and Royal Colleges. The Trust advertises most of its vacancies in the British Medical Journal (BMJ) on NHS Jobs and on its internal vacancy bulletin.

For any locum medical, nursing and administration positions that may arise, the Trust recruits through NHSP (contact NHSP via 01234 355122 for further information).

All other positions are advertised through NHS Jobs, local newspapers, specialist journals and internal vacancy bulletin.

Employement services is responsible for checking GMC Registration, NMC Registration, Visa and CRB status.
